To ensure the safety of our driver partners, adhere to the Motor Vehicles Act, and maintain legal compliance across Jharkhand, the transportation of certain articles is strictly prohibited.
25 kg Weight Ceiling
Packages must not exceed 25 kg. Heavier cargo requires dedicated commercial transport.
Secure Packaging
Sender must securely seal the package in carton boxes, bubble wrap, or tamper-evident envelopes.
Pickup & Drop Photo Proof
Our delivery partner captures time-stamped photo proof at both collection and handover points.
Recipient 4-Digit OTP
Parcels are released only when the recipient provides the verified 4-digit PIN sent via SMS.
Strictly Prohibited Articles
Driver partners are mandated to refuse pickup of any parcel containing the following items:
Hazardous & Flammable Materials
- Explosives, fireworks, firecrackers, ammunition, and flares.
- Flammable liquids or solids: petrol, diesel, kerosene, lighter fluid, and alcohol-based solvents.
- Compressed gas cylinders, aerosol cans, and butane containers.
- Corrosive acids, battery fluid, oxidizers, and toxic chemical substances.
Illegal Contraband & Controlled Substances
- Narcotics, cannabis, psychotropic drugs, or unauthorized prescription medications (NDPS Act).
- Alcoholic beverages, spirits, beer, and unsealed liquor without inter-state excise permits.
- Smuggled, stolen, un-manifested, or counterfeit goods.
- Obscene, pornographic, or offensive materials banned under Indian law.
Weapons & Dangerous Instruments
- Firearms, pistols, airguns, ammunition, or functional weapon parts.
- Unsheathed swords, machetes, daggers, or sharp cutting tools without safety sheathing.
- Tactical defense sprays (tear gas, high-potency pepper sprays) without explicit authorization.
Cash, Bullion & High-Value Articles
- Physical cash, currency notes, bearer cheques, demand drafts, or lottery tickets.
- Gold, silver, platinum bars, bullion, precious gemstones, and high-end jewelry.
- Irreplaceable documents: passports, original land deeds, degree certificates, and court affidavits.
Live Animals & Perishable Biological Goods
- Live animals, pets, reptiles, birds, insects, or livestock of any species.
- Raw meat, poultry, unprocessed seafood, or perishable foods requiring refrigeration.
- Human or animal biological specimens, clinical diagnostic samples, or remains.
Improperly Packaged & Fragile Items
- Unpackaged glassware, porcelain, mirrors, or delicate ceramics.
- Liquid containers prone to leakage, spilling, or bursting during transit.
- Loose precision electronics lacking protective corrugated shock absorption.
Driver Partner Inspection & Sender Indemnity
Our driver partners maintain the right to inspect any consignment prior to acceptance if foul odor, leakage, excessive weight, or suspicious contours are detected.
Law Enforcement Escalation
If narcotics, firearms, stolen goods, or hazardous materials are identified, the partner will refuse transport and immediately report the sender to local law enforcement (Dial 112) with pickup GPS logs.
Sender Financial & Legal Liability
The sender assumes 100% legal, criminal, and civil liability for undisclosed prohibited contents. Caxi and its drivers bear zero liability for confiscated, damaged, or impounded prohibited articles.
